Xiaomi recently launched its affordable Redmi 10X lineup in China. The recent Redmi 10X series comprises of Redmi 10X 4G, Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G devices. Out of the three smartphones launched recently, the Redmi 10X 5G seems to be the most interesting of all since it is the most affordable device to come with MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor and 5G support. Design & Display
Redmi 10X 5G boasts a beautiful glass sandwich design with the Gorilla Glass 5 protection to both front and back. The display here is 6.57" AMOLED display with a tiny dewdrop notch at the top. The display has a peak brightness of 600 nits, and it also comes with HDR10+ to enhance the viewing experience. Since Redmi has gone with an AMOLED panel, they have incorporated an optical in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the device.
Processor
Redmi 10X 5G's major USP lies in the performance department. Redmi 10X 5G is powered by the MediaTek's latest Dimensity 820 processor. Dimensity 820 is an exceptionally powerful processor that can easily handle anything you throw at it. MediaTek's Dimensity 820 is fabricated on the 7nm process, and it comes with an integrated 5G module. On the GPU front, Redmi 10X 5G is equipped with Mali-G57 MC5 GPU, which can easily handle all the AAA titles in high settings.

Camera
Redmi 10X 5G is equipped with a triple camera setup to the back. The primary camera is a 48 MP regular sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The second camera is 8 MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and 119 degrees FOV. The third camera is 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The primary camera is capable of shooting videos at 4K and comes with EIS support. The front dewdrop notch houses a 16 MP front-facing snapper.
Battery & Software
Redmi 10X 5G draws its juice from a 4520 mAh battery and comes with a 22.5W type-C fast charger included in the box. The smartphone comes with Android 10 with MIUI 11 user interface on top of it.
Configuration & Price
Redmi 10X 5G is available 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM configurations. The smartphone is priced at 1,599 yuan (approx. Rs.17,000) for the base configuration and can go up to 2,399 yuan (approx. 25,500) for the higher-end configuration. The smartphone has dual 5G support and the storage can be expanded via the dedicated micro SD card slot. The smartphone is available in Blue, Gold, and Violet color options. The Indian pricing and availability of the smartphone are yet to disclosed by the brand, and if Redmi manages to price this smartphone under Rs.18,000, then it will become a huge hit in our country.
