Twitter India has started testing a new feature called Fleet in India. With this new feature, twitter India brings Instagram story-like 24 hours disappearing tweet feature. This feature was first introduced in Brazil and Italy in March 2020. Since India is one of the largest markets for twitter, they have started testing this latest feature by rolling it out in a staged manner.

Fleets are disappearing tweets that can be used to share your fleeting thoughts and it will vanish after 24 hours. Fleets are a casual way of tweeting where users can easily share their daily thoughts with others. Apart from texts, users can also share photos, GIFs, or videos in their fleets. You can post your fleets by clicking your profile picture at the top of your timeline. Users cannot like, retweet, reply, or share your fleets publicly. If your DMs are open, anyone can DM a reply or react to your fleets. If they are closed, then people you follow can reply to your fleets. Users can also see the people who viewed their fleets. If you have an open profile, anyone can see your fleets at the top of their timeline or by clicking your profile picture. If your tweets are protected, then only your followers can view your fleets.

Twitter Fleet is introduced to share your thoughts without worrying about likes, retweets, or public comments. Fleets can be very much useful for users to share their thoughts comfortably without worrying about other's opinions.
Twitter's latest feature is currently available for both iOS and Android devices. Since twitter is rolling out this feature in a staged manner, everyone will get this new feature in the upcoming days. Twitter also requested the users to share their feedback on this latest feature using #FleetsFeedback. Twitter believes that fleets will encourage users to share their thoughts with others in a much relaxed and comfortable way.
