Back in 2019, OnePlus ventured into the smart television category by launching the OnePlus Q1 series. The OnePlus Q1 series was premium offering from the brand with top of the line specification. Since the TV had cutting edge features and premium design, it also carried a hefty price tag, which was a bit too high for a brand that had just ventured into a newer space. OnePlus Q1 series was not able to achieve OnePlus's expected sales figures due to its price.

Recently, OnePlus' founder and CEO, Mr. Pete Lau, announced that OnePlus is redefining its strategies and will diversify its product categories across various price segments. A couple of days back, OnePlus officially announced that they are launching an affordable TV in India on July 2nd. Today, the brand has also teased the expected price for the upcoming OnePlus TV in India. In their recent tweet, OnePlus teased that their latest TVs will be priced below Rs.20,000, at least for the base model. According to the Bluetooth SIG certification, OnePlus' upcoming TVs will be available in 32" and 43" sizes. Some unverified sources claim that the 32" model will be priced around Rs.15,000, and the 43" model will be priced between Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000. If OnePlus manages to launch the TVs in this price range, then OnePlus can easily occupy a fair chunk in the budget TV segment in India.

OnePlus is expected to launch the most anticipated OnePlus Z smartphone and a TWS in July. OnePlus Z is expected to boast a 6.55" FHD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone may be powered by the Snapdragon 765 processor with 5G support, and it will sport a triple camera setup. To the front, the smartphone may feature a 16 MP punch hole camera. On the battery front, OnePlus Z may come with a 4300 mAh battery with 30W warp charge support. The smartphone is expected to price around Rs.25,000 in India. The official launch date of the OnePlus z is expected to be announced in India in the coming weeks.
