AMD crushes Intel with its latest Ryzen 3000XT series desktop processors

AMD is hot on its heels, and they are really giving a tough time for the Intel, by launching great processors at various price segments. AMD recently launched three new models in the Ryzen 3000 series, and it will go on for sale starting next month. The new models include Ryzen 3600XT, Ryzen 3800XT, and Ryzen 3900XT. Al these latest processors are based on existing 7nm Zen 2 architecture with an incremental update in the clock speeds. 

The latest Ryzen 3600XT and 3900XT's boost clock frequency are increased by 100 MHz when compared to Ryzen 3600X and 3900X processors. Whereas, Ryzen 3800XT has seen a 200 MHz increase in boost clock frequency when compared to Ryzen 3800X processor. 

AMD Ryzen 3600XT will ship with Wraith Spire cooler whereas, Ryzen 3800XT and 3900XT will not include a dedicated cooler in the box. AMD announced that the lastest 3000XT series is aimed at enthusiasts and content creators. AMD recommends Ryzen 3800XT and 3900XT buyers to go with dedicated 280 mm AIO coolers to unleash the full potential of these processors.

The latest Ryzen 3000XT series is priced exactly at the same price as that of the Ryzen 3000X series. Ryzen 3600XT, 3800XT, and 3900XT processors are priced at $300, $400 and $500 respectively. It's expected that the Ryzen 3000X series will soon receive an official price cut, which will make those processors even more value for your money. 

AMD has also started selling its B550 motherboards, the main advantage of B550 based motherboards is that it will come with PCle 4.0 support at an affordable price. In addition to this, AMD has also announced its entry-level A520 chipset based motherboards, and it will be available for purchase starting August 2020. Both B550 and A520 based motherboards will support Ryzen 3000 series and above processors. 

Indian pricing and availability of these processors are yet to announced by the brand. We will update you once we get the official information from AMD.
